Although backups are stored in the /backups directory, we suggest that you download backup files to your computer. This is the safest method because backups stored on the server may also be lost in the event of a system failure.

To download a site backup, first make sure you’re logged into your Slamdot account to access your control panel, which you will find at /login.

Once you’re logged into your Slamdot account, choose a domain from the main dashboard area. Then click the “Advanced” tab and click the “Backups” link along the top. Finally, click the backup file you want to download from the list and the download process will begin.
