Happy Halloween! Hope Your Costume Doesn't Involve Too Many Layers!

In case this entire year hasn’t already been spooky enough for you, it’s officially the day that’s actually supposed to have you running around with a vague case of the heebie-jeebies. The weather may not exactly put you in mind of the Samhain season but hey, at least the kiddos won’t have to cover up their costumes with winter coats! At La Casa Jones we eagerly anticipate seeing the costumes of the 5 or 6 trick-or-treaters we get in good old ONK so less need for costume-coverage is a good thing - not so much the case for anyone who actually planned ahead, though; my coworker who chose a snuggly, fuzzy costume for his baby is a bit less thrilled about the Juneish temperatures this week.

Whether you’re going from house to house collecting candy with the kiddos (or on your own - no one’s judging), staying at home to hand out candy (and perhaps partake in some of it), going out to a party (maybe enjoying an adult beverage or two along with your candy) or sticking around home enjoying creepy movies on Netflix and homemade pumpkin cookies (now I’m making myself hungry) we hope you thoroughly enjoy yourself!

Oh, and should you feel the need to kill a bit of time between festivities, check out the Halloween 2016 Google Doodle - but beware, it just might eat your soul (or at least your free time for the evening).
